This week’s assignment had to do with exposure – things like difficult lighting situations, mixed lighting situations, bracketing etc. In addition, we had to choose five photos that “go together”; i.e. make a series. It was harder than you’d think, especially when you’re shooting pretty much anything trying to capture difficult lighting situations. I’m pretty happy with the series that I got – I think the photos all hang together pretty well, even if they’re not the most exciting photos ever taken.
These were all taken at Hog’s Back park on a very cool Saturday morning in October.
I think that the thing that really draws them all together are the strong elements of composition: i.e. shapes, lines, and value.
