Two Bridges

For the first time this spring, Ross, Nugget, and I went for a walk across the river to Quebec. We ran into our neighbour, who informed us that the walk we were doing was the traditional “two bridges” walk: across the locks, behind Parliament Hill, over the Portage bridges, up along the north side of the Ottawa river, and across the Alexandra bridge. I like it. The two bridges walk. We try to do that walk a few times a month – it’s about 5 km, so it’s a nice stretch for everyone, particularly Nugget.

We didn’t see too much wildlife this Sunday, but we did see evidence of a beaver. Very exciting.

There were also lots of tulips out…it’s getting close to the end of tulip season here, but everyone once in a while, there’s a real stunner.
